SOMS Staff 2012 Summer Reading Reccomendations

With school out for the summer, students can now enjoy their break lounging by the pool, going to camp, enjoying a well deserved vacation, or if they're lucky, working. But my favorite and inseparable from the summer vacation is —summer reading.

Reading over summer break is a way for us to connect with our teens, promote conversation and prevent knowledge loss before the next school year as well as improve vocabulary.
